Company Backgrounder
- The CyberMedia Group (CMG) is the premier provider of strategic consulting and technology/market analysis for the explosive new Interactive Information Industry (I-cubed). I3 is emerging from four industries: Computers, Communications, Consumer Electronics & Content (media & publishing). This "4Cs" confluence arises from the fundamental technology impacts in all four industries. We coined this "digital convergence" concept way back in 1982.
The CyberMedia Group is a global consultancy helping I3 executives understand and proactively develop strategies for their rapidly changing worlds. I3 executives require a sophisticated, comprehensive, integrated view of the market and the various industries and technologies that will converge to serve it. CyberMedia's multidisciplinary analytical frameworks and modeling tools are uniquely poised to do provide this.
CyberMedia provides the highest quality insight and analysis to strategic decision makers in the I3 arena who are developing and investing in "interactive-SPICE" (Services & Shopping, Publishing & Persuasion, Information & Inquiry, Communications & Communities, Entertainment & Education). CMG is unique in our ability to combine "Blue-Sky" visions and "Big Picture" frameworks with pragmatic, actionable customer-oriented recommendations.
CMG has a unique global scope, not only in terms of geographic coverage and clients, but also in terms of technologies, platforms and industries. Thus, CMG's analysis is not biased toward any particular platform or industry. Our viewpoints are always business-oriented, with an emphasis on the entire value-chain, anchored by the user/consumer.
